Must respond to all alarms on alternate week nights, alternate weekends, and on call Holidays.  Other tasks include maintaining the trash compactor during on-call times, communicating with the monitoring company and other security tasks as assigned.  Must respond to emergency maintenance requests and repair minor jobs.  Volunteer position includes coverage of Booth and Catherine Booth residences while on-call during weeknights, alternate weekends and holidays. Scheduled time away from property must coincide with the on-call schedule. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>Good skills in various light maintenance functions.</li>\n <li>Must be safety conscious.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to work and relate well with older and disabled persons.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.</li>\n <li>Must be able to follow a written schedule of daily tasks.</li>\n <li>Must have transportation to serve as on-call staff after regular 1st shift hours.</li>\n <li>Must be able to change to different tasks quickly as an emergency requires. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>The Salvation Army’s Mission StatementThe Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.Its message is based on the Bible.
