Using the latest technologies and working with interdisciplinary teams they deliver compassionate paitent-centred care<strong>.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Employee Status:</strong>  Temporary Part Time</p>\n<p><strong>Duration: </strong> January  5, 2027</p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship:</strong> Manager of Critical Care</p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Rate Range:</strong> $41.15 - $58.98</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule Requirements:</strong>   Must be available days, nights, weekends and statutory holidays. </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Wilson</p>\n<p><strong>Employee Group:</strong> ONA</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Care of acutely ill cardiac medical and surgical patients.</li>\n <li>Care of patients requiring Hemodynamic and ventilation monitoring by means of invasive and non- invasive approaches.</li>\n <li>Care planning and coordination of care with various team members embracing patient centered care.</li>\n <li>Utilization of computerized systems for documentation of patient care.</li>\n <li>Participation in project teams or Hospital committees as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.</li>\n <li>Current BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum 2 years Critical Care experience.</li>\n <li>Critical Care Certificate required.</li>\n <li>Experience in working on a Nurse Lead Rapid Response Team preferred</li>\n <li>Experience in critical care with hemodynamic monitoring and invasive and  non invasive ventilation required.</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills required.</li>\n <li>Good problem solving skills required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with a multidisciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills with an ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated good patient assessment skills. Patient assessment course preferred.</li>\n <li><p>Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.</p></li>\n <li>An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
