It’s an opportunity to grow your skills and experience as a valued member of the team.</p><p><b>Make your mark in Talbot</b></p><p>Talbot operates within the Lloyd&#39;s Insurance Market through Syndicate 1183 and Syndicate 2019.   With an expert team of highly skilled and experienced underwriters and a balanced, geographically diverse portfolio of business, Talbot has earned a reputation as an industry leading insurance specialist.</p><p>Talbot writes a diversified portfolio including Crisis Management, Energy, Financial Lines, Marine, Political Risk, Property and Terrorism.  Drawing on our deep industry expertise, Talbot develops tailored insurance solutions that address clients&#39; evolving and often unique needs.</p><p>Syndicate 2019 provides Lloyd’s investors with access to AIG’s Private Client Select (PCS) portfolio.</p><p>Part of AIG since 2018, Talbot is committed to working with brokers and clients to deliver industry leading solutions.  It is headquartered in London with offices in New York and Singapore.</p><p></p><p><b>How you will create an impact</b></p><ul><li>To assist in the monitoring and updating of operational reports</li><li>Responsible for all documentation to be scanned and indexed into the DMS system</li><li>Responsible for ensuring timeliness is met for all measured tasks (e.g.  Data quality review, peer review, written date, aggregate data entry, etc.) For their team.  This includes chasing and monitoring the workload</li><li>To ensure data entry is in accordance with agreed guidelines, e.g. endorsements, quotes, promise lines</li><li>To ensure the underwriting teams promptly address item received electronically (i.e. electronic trading platforms and email)</li><li>To ensure that underwriters resolve contract certainty queries/failures within a timely manner</li><li>To act in accordance with all regulatory standards and principals</li><li>Attend and prepare necessary documentation for team meetings (Underwriting and/or UTS).</li><li>To adhere to the internal binder approval process</li><li>To provide box support at Lloyd’s when required</li><li>Responsible for building and maintaining close working relationships with third party providers and brokers</li><li>Ad-hoc and general administration duties as and when required for the UTS Core team.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll need to succeed</b></p><ul><li>Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff.</li><li>Good knowledge of the Lloyd’s Market and the classes of business written at Talbot.</li><li>Excellent IT Skills.</li><li>Working towards the CII exams.</li><li>Contributes to the business</li><li>Open and approachable</li><li>Teams with and supports others</li><li>Inspires trust</li><li>Adapts to and initiates change</li><li>Accurate and attends to detail</li><li>Analyses and interprets information</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span>At AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
