    "description": "<p>This position is responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment on their respective shift and support of the overall department&rsquo;s performance goals. They are responsible for the completion of operations on a daily basis. This includes meeting the daily packaging output goals, following the procedures as defined by SOP&rsquo;s, and executing specific verbal directions from their direct leadership. The Packaging Specialist is responsible for maintaining and ensuring their training is complete. Each Specialist is hired into a minimum level that they are required to attain. The Specialist must always be able to perform all tasks for the levels below their current level of training. For example, a Level 2 Specialist must be able to perform all activities from Level 0 to Level 2. A brief description of each level and the criteria required to maintain the levels are listed below.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Level 0</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>New Hire</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.25in;\">&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Level 1</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>JS Core training completed and assessment passed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Minimum time on the job experience is 12 months</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Level 2</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Minimum time on the job experience is 24 months.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Maintain an operational knowledge of all packaging equipment and ancillary support equipment including control and communication devices used in the process.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in identifying areas for process improvements through analysis of daily operations and process review.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in identifying areas for health, safety, and ergonomic improvements through analysis of required tasks.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist in Developing strategy for process improvements to include:\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Operational Specification</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Action Plan for implementation</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Analysis of process improvement</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Supporting documentation as required</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Creating or revising Standard Operating Procedures to support the process improvement</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Assist in training programs</li>\r\n\t\t<li>Maintain tools &amp; equipment required for packaging equipment</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Perform defined preventive maintenance tasks at a daily and weekly level as defined by SOP.</li>\r\n\t<li>Support maintenance technicians on communication and controls.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow all SOP&rsquo;s, safety and health guidelines and cGMP guidelines.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure daily production goals are accomplished, complete daily production log and attend daily production meetings as required.</li>\r\n\t<li>Update ERP System with the use of raw materials for each production order.</li>\r\n\t<li>Prepare and setup the packaging line for each batch run according to the production order.</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitor the packaging line and support equipment during batch packaging.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform process monitoring of the equipment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure packaging line is supplied with the appropriate QC released materials according to the production order.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure the packaging line has been properly cleaned and line clearance performed at the end of each batch run and at the beginning of batch packaging.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform reconciliation of materials, finished product delivered to the warehouse, and packaging rejects at the end of each batch.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure scrap materials have been disposed of properly.</li>\r\n\t<li>Notify the appropriate personnel when equipment failure or deviation occurs during batch packaging.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist with the training of Packaging personnel on packaging SOP&rsquo;s and TRC SOP&rsquo;s.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ensure appropriate housekeeping of the packaging lines is performed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Participate in the internal and external TRC training program.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a professional team-oriented working relationship with fellow employees.</li>\r\n\t<li>Follow written and verbal procedures as directed by the leadership team and TRC.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 65 pounds of equipment, parts or supplies.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Minimum 2 year Technical degree preferred and/or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to establish priorities and meet quality expectations with minimal supervision.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to operate in a team-oriented working environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Excellent documentation and attention to detail skills.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
