Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights. Performs other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collects patient data.</li>\n <li>Assists in planning patient care.</li>\n <li>Implements patient care as directed.</li>\n <li>Assists with evaluating the plan of care.</li>\n <li>Administers medication as prescribed.</li>\n <li>Provides and reinforces the teaching of individuals and groups of patients.</li>\n <li>Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.</li>\n <li>Participates in ongoing educational activities.</li>\n <li>Completes assigned goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Specifications</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Required&nbsp;</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>1 year working in a clinical healthcare setting</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred/Desired</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with documentation in an electronic medical record system, such as EPIC</li>\n <li>Knowledge or willingness to learn about minimally invasive laparoscopic and open surgeries</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education</strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Required</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of accredited LPN program</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Special Skills</strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Required</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new applications</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred/Desired</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional demeanor and recognition of privacy considerations.</li>\n <li>Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Minimum Required</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE; LPN licensure per the state of operation.</li>\n</ul>",
