This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment installation support, and maintaining facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, support operational efficiency, and maintain a safe working environment.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on maintenance experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</span></span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform preventative maintenance activities including inspections, lubrication, filter replacement, calibration, and equipment testing according to established maintenance schedules</li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems</li>\n<li>Inspect equipment and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational inefficiencies</li>\n<li>Support installation, startup, assembly, and alignment of new equipment in collaboration with engineers, contractors, and vendors</li>\n<li>Respond to equipment failures and emergency maintenance situations in a timely manner to minimize operational downtime</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, spare parts inventory, and preventative maintenance schedules using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)</li>\n<li>Collaborate with production, operations, and project teams to coordinate maintenance priorities and process improvements</li>\n<li>Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and PPE requirements, to maintain a safe work environment</li>\n<li>Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, including torque wrenches, hammer drills, and power saws</li>\n<li>Support additional maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></li>\n<li>Previous mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, automotive, construction, manufacturing, or related environments required</li>\n<li>Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems</li>\n<li>Experience with compressed air systems and equipment installation preferred</li>\n<li>Basic computer proficiency and ability to utilize CMMS software</li>\n<li>Ability to read and follow technical instructions, equipment manuals, and procedures</li>\n<li>Experience operating forklifts or willingness to complete onsite certification training</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and safe work practices</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment</li>\n<li>Valid Washington State driver’s license required</li>\n<li>\n</li></ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical certification, vocational training, or related maintenance education</li>\n<li>Basic plumbing experience</li>\n<li>Experience working in chemical manufacturing, industrial production, or laboratory environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">WORKING CONDITIONS &amp; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</span></span></p>\n<p>This position operates primarily in a warehouse and industrial production environment. Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing, crouching, and lifting objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
