Key job activities include delivering timely and quality client service while providing a sustainable approach to data center systems maintenance. The <strong>Critical Facility Engineer&nbsp;</strong>demonstrates BGIS values daily in communication with the client and other team members.&nbsp;</p>\n </div>\n <div style=\"margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n  <p><strong>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <p><strong>Client Service Focus</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Complete client service requests in a timely manner.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Respond to emergency calls.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Maintain Data Center Systems</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Perform maintenance to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Complete routine maintenance tasks in accordance with BGIS Safety Policy and Procedures.</li>\n   <li>Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend system upgrades.</li>\n   <li>Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Request proposals for outsourced work.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Monitor vendors and contractors to ensure their work meets BGIS and client standards.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Accurate and timely completion of work order requests.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Escalate issues to Critical Environment Facility Manager as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>&nbsp;Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Controls, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Familiarity with PLC controls and industrial automation systems.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.&nbsp;</li>\n   <li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site response.&nbsp;</li>\n  </ul>\n  <p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n  <div style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px\">\n   <ul>\n    <li>Ability and willingness to travel.</li>\n    <li>Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.</li>\n    <li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>\n    <li>Two years’ experience in similar working environment with HVAC or Electrical knowledge helpful.&nbsp;</li>\n    <li>One-year experience in specific Critical Environments position.&nbsp;</li>\n    <li>Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems and equipment typically&nbsp;used in critical environments.&nbsp;</li>\n    <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with client service focus to maintain professional relationships.</li>\n    <li>Ability to work both individually and contribute positively to teamwork.&nbsp;</li>\n    <li>Critical facility procedure use and development.</li>\n    <li>Time Management focus to prioritize and complete work in a timely basis.&nbsp;</li>\n    <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred. SharePoint and Power BI experience is a plus.</li>\n    <li>Navigation, operating experience and understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Building Automations Systems, Emergency Power Monitoring Systems and Fire Alarm Systems.</li>\n   </ul>\n  </div>\n  <p><strong>Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
