font-weight: bold\">🤩 What you'll do</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Japan Country Manager will lead Toon Boom’s business in Japan with full ownership of market strategy, revenue growth, and local operations. </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This role is both </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">strategic and hands-on</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, requiring a leader who can build strategy, drive market expansion, build deep industry relationships, and position Toon Boom as the leading platform for modern animation production in Japan.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsible for managing and growing Toon Boom’s business in Japan</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, including with full P&amp;L responsibility and accountability for revenue targets, pipeline development, and market share expansion.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Define and execute a </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">localized go-to-market strategy</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> across direct sales, partnerships, and customer success.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Build and expand relationships with </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">leading animation studios</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, acting as executive sponsor on key accounts and leading complex enterprise negotiations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Drive adoption of Toon Boom’s </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Ember AI features</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, educating the market on AI-assisted workflows while respecting established production practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Expand Toon Boom’s footprint within existing customers while securing </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">new studio, broadcaster, and enterprise clients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop and manage a </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">partner ecosystem</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, including resellers, strategic alliances, and educational institutions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Lead and scale the </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">🎯 What you'll need</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">15+ years of experience in the </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Japanese animation industry and/or animation software ecosystem.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Deep network and credibility with </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Japanese animation studios, producers, and production leaders.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong understanding of </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">frame-by-frame animation workflows and production pipelines in Japan.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proven experience working with </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">North American or European companies</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">, ideally in a leadership or market-facing role.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrated success in </span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;
