The ESL teacher will be responsible for planning lessons and activities, adopting a creative approach, and encouraging and motivating students to learn. To be a successful ESL teacher, you should be able to create an environment that is conducive to learning. font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Instructs pupils in citizenship, basic communications skill,s and other general elements of the course of study common to all teachers, as specified in state law and administrative regulations and procedures of the district.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 93, 157); font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Provides individual, small, and/or large group instruction, whenever appropriate, in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of pupils with varying intellectual and special abilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 93, 157); font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Instructs pupils in proper care and use of textbooks, equipment, and materials.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 93, 157);
