Research related rejections and denials and make the necessary corrections to meet billing guidelines or recommend claims for write-off.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>This position is on-site in Valencia, CA.</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for verifying eligibility and risk delegation for health plan members and properly maintaining the customer records&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure that all eligibility verification requests are completed in a timely manner</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research problems and find solutions to eligibility related claim rejections and denials</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inform management of changes or trends with eligibility and risk issues&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research denials and billing requirements of third-party carriers utilizing web portals, phone contact, EOBs, provider manuals, etc.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Adjudicate claims issues by preparing and submitting corrected claims or appeals</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Recommend claims for write-off when billing requirements are not met</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Effectively communicate by phone, email, and in-person with third-party payers and internal staff to resolve eligibility issues and establish positive relationships</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accurately update and notate accounts receivable system, collections notepad, and customer accounts</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Remain updated on company policies and procedures and third-party payer guidelines, bulletins, and billing requirements</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work reports and projects assigned by management</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure appropriate follow-up and timely completion of assignments</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;<strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with various medical insurance payer guidelines/billing requirements preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office with experience working in Microsoft Excel</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be detail oriented, thorough, accurate, and organized</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven ability to research and solve problems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Good written and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;<strong>Pay &amp; BENEFITS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">$19-20 / hour</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Medical, Dental, and Vision&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">401(k) with Company Match&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sick and Vacation Days&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Flexible Spending Account&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Life &amp; Disability Insurance&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Education Assistance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Employee Referral Program</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Career-minded individuals will find our business challenging and our reputation for excellence just one of the rewards we have to offer.
