The candidate will work in an active and reactive engineering environment where projects range from large scale multi-year programs to single family or commercial developments. Over the last two decades, WGI has been involved in some of Florida’s largest and most complex projects.  As a firm we continue to grow and look forward to the opportunity to add talented engineers who are eager to work on exciting projects and grow professionally.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#LI-onsite</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Generate construction plans and details using AutoCAD C3D (2023);</li>\n <li>Develop engineering designs including plans, profiles, sections, paving, grading, and utility;</li>\n <li>Develop engineering documents including storm water reports, permit applications, and supporting modeling;</li>\n <li>Construction oversite and observations and reporting;</li>\n <li>Perform construction quantity take-off estimates;</li>\n <li>Cross-train in all civil engineering disciplines including pavement, grading, drainage, water, wastewater and lift station design, signing and pavement marking, storm water pollution;</li>\n <li>Coordinate and communicate plans, calculations and specifications amongst multi-discipline design teams; and</li>\n <li>Ensure designs, plans and calculations are complete and accurate.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.</li>\n <li>Problem solving using intellect and good judgment;</li>\n <li>Experience with production software tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint);</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic with good engineering judgement;</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate independently and collaborate as an integral part of a project team;</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college;</li>\n <li>Passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam – EI registration;</li>\n <li>Engineering experience in Hydrology, and Hydraulic modeling (ICPR 3 or 4); and</li>\n <li>Skilled understanding of AutoCAD 2023 (Civil 3D);</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
