Join our team at Laurel Dental Care and contribute to exceptional patient experiences! 🦷✨</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>A Day In The Life Of </h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Cleans calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums using dental instruments.</li>\n <li>Examines gums for disease and lymph nodes for oral cancer.</li>\n <li>Applies fluorides or other cavity-preventing agents to arrest dental decay.</li>\n <li>Exposes and develops x-ray film</li>\n <li>Records and reviews patient medical histories. Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist.</li>\n <li>Maintains dental equipment and sharpens and sterilized dental instruments.</li>\n <li>Provides clinical services or health education to improve and maintain the oral health of patients or the general public.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring To The Table </h2>\n<p>Required Skills/Abilities:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of general principles of dentistry and advanced knowledge of dental hygiene.</li>\n <li>Strong customer service skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education and Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree or the successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene.</li>\n <li>State license required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We kindly request you not contact our office.
