In this role, you will oversee day-to-day field activities that support critical transportation projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong team coordination. This opportunity is ideal for a driven leader who combines technical expertise with a collaborative approach and takes pride in delivering reliable, high-quality survey data.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct and lead field crew members through daily survey assignments, ensuring safe, efficient, and well‑coordinated field operations in alignment with safety protocols and quality assurance standards</li>\n <li>Perform record research, construction stakeout, boundary, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys utilizing total stations, data collectors, and GPS</li>\n <li>Review legal documents, plans, and project materials to accurately plan and execute surveying projects and task goal establishment</li>\n <li>Create and verify field sketches and field computations related to traversing, map interpretation, and layout </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of related experience required</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of surveying practices, field procedures, and industry standards</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred; knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred</li>\n <li>Strong leadership, communication, and team‑coordination skills with the ability to represent the firm professionally with clients and the broader public</li>\n <li>Ability to lift and carry equipment over uneven terrain and work outdoors in all weather conditions</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required with the ability to travel short-term</li>\n <li>NSPS‑CST Level II certification preferred; LSIT preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead field efforts on a wide range of impactful transportation infrastructure projects</li>\n <li>Work alongside talented surveyors, engineers, and project teams who value accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement</li>\n <li>Grow your career in a supportive environment with opportunities to expand your technical skillset and leadership capabilities</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious how CHA’s Survey Geospatial team is shaping mobility and infrastructure?
