We are seeking a CNC Set-Up Operator to join our 2nd shift team in Sandusky, where you will play a critical role in supporting our manufacturing operations. In this position, you’ll set up and operate CNC and conventional equipment to produce high-quality components while ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to production standards in a fast-paced environment.</p>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\"><strong>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</strong></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Precision machine set-up and operating responsibilities.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet demand.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Sets up and operate CNC and other related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC manufacturing equipment for tasks such as cutting, punching, forming, drilling tapping, turning, milling and stamping to fabricate, form or shape manufactured parts, tools or parts assembly from raw materials.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Resolves issues related to the organizations production, machinery, and processing.&nbsp;</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Tests and calibrates components and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Observe established safe working, housekeeping procedures and promptly correct and / or notify supervisor of any hazardous situations.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">All supplemental duties, responsibilities, or non-essential requirements as assigned.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\"><strong>For This Role, You Will Need:</strong></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">High school diploma/GED or 2 years of experience required.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Between 1 – 3 years CNC set up experience or demonstrated proficiency.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Blueprint Reading.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Ability to produce a quality part at a productive rate.</li>\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Work in a fast-paced environment.<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:</strong></p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n <li style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">Ability to utilize mechanical/manufacturing standards of practice for both manufacturing and assembly of components to obtain a defect-free part for shipment to customers.<br>\n   &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\"><strong>Our Culture &amp; Commitment to You:</strong></p>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\" margin-bottom: 0in\">At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
