This position requires the operation of commercial vehicles to haul compost, soil, mulch, aggregates, and other bulk materials to customer locations and project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate specialized unloading equipment. Experience with roll-off containers and equipment is a plus but not required.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Transport and deliver bulk materials to customer locations, construction sites, farms, compost facilities, and processing locations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operate live bottom trailer unloading systems safely and efficiently.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily inspections of tractors, trailers, and associated equipment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Properly secure and cover loads using tarp systems to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and prevent material loss during transit.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Load, transport, and unload materials while maintaining product quality and safety standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete driver logs, inspection reports, fuel records, and other required documentation accurately and timely.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain communication with dispatch, operations personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and operational updates.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitoring vehicle performance and reporting maintenance concerns promptly.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Keep equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with yard operations, staging equipment, and other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Roll-off truck experience is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience hauling bulk materials, compost, mulch, aggregates, agricultural products, or waste materials.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience operating live bottom, walking floor, end-dump, or other specialty trailers is a plus.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Familiarity with construction, environmental, agricultural, recycling, or waste management operations.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid Class A Commercial Driver&#39;s License (CDL).&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurability requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and safe driving practices.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles, as required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Safe operation of tractor-trailers and specialized hauling equipment.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to safely operate and troubleshoot live bottom trailer systems.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of proper load securement and tarp procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong customer service and communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to adapt to changing routes, schedules, and work assignments.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to climb in and out of trucks and trailers multiple times per day.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to climb ladders and access trailer tarp systems.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and perform vehicle inspections.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, mud, and dusty environments.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position operates in a variety of environments, including construction sites, compost facilities, farms, recycling centers, transfer stations, landfills, and customer locations.
