    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p>1. &nbsp; &nbsp;Education: &nbsp; &nbsp;Must have completed the curriculum of a recognized school of radiologic technology. &nbsp;Must have certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and maintain this status while employed at Unity Health (if a recent graduate, must actively be pursuing the Registry).<br id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>2. &nbsp; &nbsp;Training and Experience: &nbsp;Prefer 1 year radiologic experience.<br><br>3. &nbsp; &nbsp;Job Knowledge: &nbsp; Knowledge of radiographic examinations as well as the procedures that require the use of contrast agents. &nbsp;Have a knowledge of radiographic equipment operations and radiation safety. &nbsp;Must also be knowledgeable about patient transfers and positioning techniques.<br><br>4. &nbsp; &nbsp;Safety Sensitive: &nbsp; YES<br>In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as &ldquo;safety sensitive.&rdquo; &nbsp;A &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others. Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position.<br><br><br>DESCRIPTION:<br><br>Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients. &nbsp;Open, accurate and responsive communication, oral or written, on an individual basis or in groups. &nbsp;Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. &nbsp;Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. &nbsp;Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload and/or unforeseen circumstances. &nbsp;Must display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics through geriatrics.<br><br>Physical Effort: &nbsp;Worker must adjust to performing routine, repetitive tasks without specific supervision. &nbsp;Worker will be performing within a radiation area. &nbsp;Employee may frequently be exposed to blood, body fluids/tissues and electromagnetic radiation, gamma and x-rays as in CRT&rsquo;s (VDT&rsquo;s). &nbsp;Capability to be independently mobile. &nbsp;Ability to manage physically aggressive patients, to transport patients on the stretcher or in a wheelchair and to move portable x-ray machine to examination site. &nbsp;The ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance, reach, stoop and bend while maintaining a good mechanical body position. They should also have the ability to wear protective lead aprons and lead gloves during examinations and perform tasks for a long period of time. &nbsp;Manual dexterity sufficient to operate radiographic equipment. &nbsp;Hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform examinations, observe patients, read monitors and documents, hear equipment alarms. &nbsp;They should also have the ability to work within a limited space and in bright and low lighted examination room and to travel locally and elsewhere (including overnight stays) to attend seminars.<br><br>Mental Effort: &nbsp;Position requires ability to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and attend to tasks for 20-45 minutes at a time. &nbsp;Individual must be able to understand and relate to the concepts behind specific ideas and remember multiple tasks given to self and others over long periods of time. &nbsp;Must be able to communicate verbally, using advanced level of vocabulary. &nbsp;Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families of all age groups, all radiology/nuclear medicine staff, referring physicians and residents, nursing scheduling, patient escort services and administration who may or may not be under physical and/or emotional stress. &nbsp;Frequent interaction with personnel in other departments and with vendors. &nbsp;The ability to maintain confidential information. &nbsp;<br><br><br><br></p></div></div>\n",
