We offer methadone and buprenorphine products in conjunction with counseling, groups, case management,<br />\r\nmental health support and medication as well as nursing services to help support our clients in their journey of recovery. Our<br />\r\ngoal is to prevent overdose, reduce withdrawal symptoms, normalize brain chemistry, relieve physiological cravings, and<br />\r\nassist clients in achieving the life goals they have set.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><strong>What You&#39;ll Do</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Complete initial assessment/history on all clients entering treatment.&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Strategically use assessment information to make an appropriate clinical evaluation of client&#39;s current conditions in a timely manner.&nbsp;&nbsp;This includes (but not limited to) making appropriate referrals, consulting with physician, and/or educating the client as appropriate.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\r\n\t<li>Educate client and families on symptoms, medications and side effects.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide a welcoming approach towards all clients, visitors and guests from a trauma informed approach.</li>\r\n\t<li>Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover&rsquo;s designated electronic medical record.</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><strong>Requirements of the Position</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Availability to work a to <b>Full-Time, (40-Hour Work Week)</b>\r\n\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li><b>Monday to Friday</b>&nbsp;-&nbsp;<b>7:00am to 4:00pm</b>\r\n\r\n\t\t<ul>\r\n\t\t\t<li><b>Rotating Saturday twice a month - 8:00am to 12:00 noon</b></li>\r\n\t\t</ul>\r\n\t\t</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>Graduation&nbsp;from an accredited nursing program.</li>\r\n\t<li>Active Missouri license as a Registered Nurse&nbsp;(or the ability to practice as an RN in the state of Missouri)&nbsp;Preferred, or\r\n\t<ul>\r\n\t\t<li>Active Missouri license as Licensed Practical Nurse (or the ability to practice as a LPN in the state of Missouri).</li>\r\n\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>At least two (2) years clinical experience in a direct service provision in a mental health setting preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Knowledge of the community resources as well as health and social service systems in the Kansas City metro area and skill in establishing working relationships with community partners preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong&nbsp;written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as use of email.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><strong>Grow With Us</strong></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p>We&rsquo;re committed to your professional development and will support your growth as a <strong>Registered Nurse or Licensed Practicial Nurse</strong> through training, collaboration, and meaningful work.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Ready to join a team that&rsquo;s passionate about people?
