    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Parts Counter Sales Representatives are responsible for front-line customer service in a variety of parts ordering functions. Responsibilities include assisting customers, taking parts orders, researching technical data for the correct part or parts and data entry.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate:  </strong>Minimum starting wage of $22.08 - $30.13 per hour based on location and experience. This is a union position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits include: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid Time Off + 8 company paid holidays</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options for Employee and Family </li>\n <li>Disability & Life Insurance Packages</li>\n <li>Competitive Retirement Plan </li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement – available to FT employees with 1 year+ of service</li>\n <li>Additional supplemental offerings and discount programs</li>\n <li>Employee Referral Program</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>First Shift Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday morning hours.</li>\n <li>Assisting customers after hours when on-call.</li>\n <li>Greet all customers and answer phones in a polite and timely fashion.</li>\n <li>Utilize formatted phone script when answering calls.</li>\n <li>Process customer and shop orders, backorders, credits and quotes.</li>\n <li>Look up parts via supplied computer programs for CAT and other brands we service.</li>\n <li>Handle cash and credit payments and returns per procedures.</li>\n <li>Resolve customer issues or concerns as necessary.</li>\n <li>Assist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.</li>\n <li>Able and willing to perform warehouse duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Perform related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent.</li>\n <li>Energy and stamina to work extended hours and weekends, as well as work overtime as needed.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Strong problem solving and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.</li>\n <li>Basic math skills.</li>\n <li>Able to lift 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Able/willing to learn to operate material handling equipment.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and good driving record.</li>\n <li>Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced distribution center environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills and Competencies:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior industry experience.</li>\n <li>Past experience in automotive industry a plus.</li>\n <li>Basic mechanical ability a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
