This role supports resort operations through hands-on maintenance, preventive care, and project work—helping ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.</p><p><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.</li><li>Troubleshoot plumbing issues, make repairs, and replace fixtures and piping as needed.</li><li>Diagnose, replace, and repair minor electrical components such as receptacles and ballasts.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair appliances and household fixtures.</li><li>Understand HVAC systems and perform basic preventive maintenance and diagnostics.</li><li>Repair interior and exterior walls, wall coverings, and ceilings, including texturing, painting, and caulking.</li><li>Repair or replace tiles, grout, vinyl, and carpet as required.</li><li>Work with pools, spas, and water features, including chemical balancing and cleaning tasks.</li><li>Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work.</li><li>Operate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems).</li><li>Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions.</li><li>Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.</li><li>Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for the job.</li><li>Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).</li><li>Follow safety guidelines and practices.</li><li>Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.</li><li>Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution.</li><li>Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.</li><li>Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior.</li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.</li></ul><p><strong>To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
