This internship starts in June 2026 for approximately 10-12 weeks.  This is a full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION SUMMARY</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are seeking a motivated intern (undergraduate, master’s, or PhD level) to support the development of a web-based platform for clinical data exploration and management.</li>\n<li>The role involves building and optimizing a searchable interface based on existing clinical datasets, leveraging modern web technologies and AI tools to enhance functionality and user experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the design and development of a web application for clinical data search and visualization</li>\n<li>Integrate and structure existing clinical datasets to enable efficient querying and retrieval</li>\n<li>Utilize AI tools (e.g., LLMs, data processing tools) to enhance search capabilities and user interaction</li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and iterate on features</li>\n<li>Perform basic data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation to ensure data quality</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor student in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Biology, Computer Science, or a related field</li>\n<li>Experience with clinical or biomedical data searching, collection and validation from published sources</li>\n<li>Basic experience in web development and data handling is a plus (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Python, SQL)</li>\n<li>Interest or experience in applying AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Codex, NotebookLM, Claude or similar)</li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</li>\n<li>A full-time student in an accredited program with plans to return to school in the fall</li>\n<li>All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2026.</li>\n</ul>",
