We are currently seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our facility located in Houston, TX, 77075. The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, and plumbing). Current Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, OT as needed</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>A Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of various systems and equipment within a facility. This includes HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance. They perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary repairs to ensure the facility is operating efficiently and safely. Additionally, they may assist with the installation of new equipment, coordinate with external contractors, and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Performs routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, and plumbing)</li><li>Repair small plumbing issues</li><li>Lighting repairs</li><li>Sheetrock and painting for office; make ready</li><li>Assists maintenance technicians and other workers</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>4 years of experience in a facilities maintenance group</li></ul><p><strong>Skills, Abilities &amp; Other Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to use shop equipment: such as sanders, drill press, forklift, and scissor lift&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to perform new electrical installation for industrial equipment and repair existing electrical in an industrial setting&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work safely by following policies and procedures in an industrial environment&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Effective communications skills are required; Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Able to work alone and in a team environment</li></ul><p><strong>Working &amp; Environmental Conditions</strong></p><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Temperature controlled warehouse and manufacturing plant, outside activities are required will be exposed to hot &amp; cold weather climate conditions</li><li>This position may be required to work &lt; 5% at offsite facilities within the Greater Houston area</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Maintaining body equilibrium and agility to prevent falling when walking, standing, crouching, ascending or descending stairs</li><li>Bending the body at the waist, the legs at the knees, and extending arms and hands in any direction in a repetitive manner</li><li>Standing and walking for long periods of time, up to an entire shift</li><li>Ability to bend and lift heavy materials 60+ lbs. repeatedly throughout a single workday</li><li>Typing, punching or applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm</li></ul><p><strong>More Information</strong></p><p>This job description outlines the essential functions of the job and does not contain a comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks, and duties.</p><p><strong>*Posted position does not provide visa sponsorship or relocation.</strong></p>",
