All needs are based on our clients’ needs and we source inspectors based on availability, location, taxonomy approvals, and specific client requests..</p><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc; padding-left: 30px;\"><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Participate in project meetings as needed</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Supervise inspectors on a day to day basis to ensure effective utilization and timely verification of the project quality objectives</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Coordinate the flow of information between the inspectors and other including client, contractors, subcontractors and vendors as appropriate</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Witness testing, perform verifications, and monitor project activities</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Routinely conducted facility walk-throughs and report on findings.&nbsp;</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Review surveillance reports and request technical assistance, if specific or quality problems are indicated</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Assess/Audit contractor, subcontractor, and vendor activities to ensure effective execuation of the quality assurance programs and plans</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Coordinate surveillance plans and assit Client in scheduling the appropriate engineering specialists to ensure their participation where necessary to achieve the desired level of quality</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Assist in the development of Client surveillance and inspection staff to monitor implementation of the contractor’s quality assurance program and plan</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Compile information relating to contractor, subcontractor, or vendor quality, which can be used to support changes in their quality assurance programs, plans, and procedures</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Report the status of the contractors, subcontractors, or vendors overall quality assurance program to Client and its specific effectiveness on the project</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Provide coordination effort and assistance as requsted by Client</p></li><li class=\"ortl-align-justify\"><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Prepare and issue inspection report</p></li></ul><p><br>This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What it takes to be successful in this role:</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Prefer at least eight (8) years experience with pipe related quality assurance systems</li><li style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Familiar with/able to interpret and understand a) national codes and standards and b) specifications, drawings and data sheets as they are related to mult-discipline construction and/or pipe projects</li><li style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Received high school/GED or higher education</li><li style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Fluent in English (i.e. reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)</li><li style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Proficient in Microsoft Office.</li><li style=\"line-height: 115%;\">Familiarity with email and internet communication systems.</li><li style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><p>Ability to work well with others, multi-task, and is detailed oriented.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Valid Industry Certification preferred – Examples of such certifications include, but not limited to:&nbsp; AWS CWI, CWB Level 2, API 510, 570, SI, ASNT or CGSB NDT Level II, III.
