In this role, you will operate extrusion equipment to support daily rubber manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of extrusion machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Operate and monitor extrusion equipment</strong> to support daily rubber production, ensuring consistent performance and product quality</li>\n <li><strong>Perform operational and safety pre-checks</strong> to verify equipment readiness, emergency stops, guards, and PPE compliance before starting production</li>\n <li><strong>Inspect equipment and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues</strong> to minimize downtime and maintain workflow</li>\n <li><strong>Handle rubber materials and work with heavy machinery</strong> in high-temperature environments while following strict safety protocols</li>\n <li><strong>Monitor machine processes</strong> throughout the shift and respond promptly to any issues or abnormalities</li>\n <li><strong>Conduct daily inspections</strong> of machine setups, conditions, and verify the functionality of scales and measuring devices</li>\n <li><strong>Ensure all checkpoints, sensors, and machines</strong> are functioning correctly and operating as intended</li>\n <li><strong>Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)</strong> and adhere to quality standards and production goals</li>\n <li><strong>Maintain a clean and organized work area</strong> in alignment with 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)</li>\n <li><strong>Accurately record production data</strong> and equipment checks on daily logs</li>\n <li><strong>Communicate clearly and consistently</strong> with team leaders and supervisors regarding equipment concerns or process issues</li>\n <li><strong>Operate and understand all mixing equipment</strong> used in the extrusion process</li>\n <li><strong>Perform physical tasks</strong> such as standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge and Skills</h2>\n<p>To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Basic Troubleshooting</strong> – Ability to identify and resolve minor equipment or process issues to maintain production flow.</li>\n   <li><strong>Effective Communication</strong> – Clear verbal and written communication with team leads, supervisors, and cross-functional departments.</li>\n   <li><strong>Attention to Detail</strong> – Consistently follow instructions, monitor machine settings, and ensure products meet quality standards.</li>\n   <li><strong>Record Keeping</strong> – Accurately complete daily production check sheets and quality documentation.</li>\n   <li><strong>Teamwork</strong> – Collaborate with coworkers to solve problems and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.</li>\n   <li><strong>Time Management</strong> – Stay on schedule and complete tasks within designated shift timelines.</li>\n   <li><strong>Physical Stamina</strong> – Capable of standing for extended periods and safely lifting heavy materials as needed.</li>\n   <li><strong>Chemical Handling</strong> – Safely work with and around chemicals used in the mixing process, following all procedures and PPE requirements.</li>\n   <li><strong>Heat and Carbon Exposure Awareness</strong> – Understand and manage working conditions involving heat and carbon materials, ensuring safety and compliance with operational protocols.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Experience</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong>: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>\n    <ul>\n     <li>2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.</li>\n     <li>Career Readiness Certificate – Silver level or higher.</li>\n    </ul></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Note: <strong>Preferred qualifications are not required to apply.
