Each 8-hour shift also includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tw Cen MT\",sans-serif;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tw Cen MT\",sans-serif;'>Saturday or evening shifts might happen occasionally if there is a special project with a tight deadline, but the goal is a steady and reliable Monday through Friday 40-hour work week to avoid weekend, night-time, and overtime work.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tw Cen MT\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p><strong><em><u>The pay for this position is $16.50/hr.</u></em></strong><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong><em>SJS also offers 80 hours of PTO accrual, medical, dental, vision, and a variety of additional benefits including 7 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays.&nbsp;</em></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tw Cen MT\",sans-serif;' data-pasted=\"true\">The Material Handler must be able to walk and move quickly for a full shift with limited time spent sitting down, be able to safely push and pull wheeled racks of parts within the warehouse, and will cooperate politely with teammates. He or she might be evaluated to determine if he or she can successfully complete future forklift training. The Material Handler is expected to uphold strict safety, quality, attendance, and technical standards.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Tw Cen MT\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Responsibilities will include:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Responsible for the preparation and masking of surfaces of components prior to being coated. &nbsp;</li><li>Safely operate various small hand tools and power tools such as pneumatic sanders, electric drills, and impact wrenches to assemble, disassemble, and prepare parts. &nbsp;</li><li>Safely hang parts using appropriate methods on mobile racks in preparation for being coated.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to remain on one&rsquo;s feet in an upright position and move about on their feet during the duration of the shift.
