    "description": "<p>This temporary position is in the Administrative Branch at Acadia National Park; is directly\nsupervised by the Volunteer Program Coordinator (GS-0025-09) with daily direction from\nthe Lead Park Rangers GS-0025-07 (YCC Director). The incumbent serves as a Crew\nLeader for the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC), a non-residential, work-based learning\nprogram. Responsible for leading groups of youth on assigned work projects relating to\nnatural resource conservation and management, trail rehabilitation, etc. Work is centered on\nwork projects, resource education, leadership, and recreational activities. Incumbent must\npossess a valid driver’s license.\n\n<br>\n</p><ul>\n<li>\nDirects, leads, and coordinates training, and work projects to be completed by the youth crews.\n</li>\n<li>\nProvides direction on work projects including correct use of hand tools, maintaining, and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), work tools and equipment, and leave no trace principles.\n</li>\n<li>\nMaintains a safe environment for self, co-workers, and enrollees.\n</li>\n<li>\nPlans, and leads resource education programs to enrollees.\n</li>\n</ul>\n",
