Our nurses work as a team and treat each other and our patients like family. Adult hospitalists provide excellent 24/7 coverage and support to our nursing team. We offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits and flexibility. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervises nursing personnel activities daily and participates in the delivery of general nursing duties.  </li>\n <li>Administers prescribed medications and treatment following approved nursing procedures and physician order.  </li>\n <li>Observes patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of conditions and significant incidents.  </li>\n <li>Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment and examinations of patients. </li>\n <li> Assesses patient vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determines patient progress.  </li>\n <li>Has daily responsibility in areas of personnel assignments, supervises licensed and non-licensed personnel, patient placement, cost containment, patient and family education and customer satisfaction.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Work requires a basic knowledge of pathophysiology, the nursing process, nursing interventions, pharmacology, methods utilized for delivering nursing care and the management of patients and personnel</li>\n <li>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current Indiana RN licensure required </li>\n <li>Work requires the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms</li>\n <li>BLS certification</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>We believe that work-life balance is critical to fulfilling our values of excellence and service.
