    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Executes the daily operation, ongoing maintenance, installation and annual projects assigned for the Utilities Plumbing Department. Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in amusement and water parks. Maintains boilers, bathrooms, sinks, kitchen equipment, drains, lift stations, grease traps, and other related equipment as required to support a large amusement facility. Maintains Fire Systems and performs minor repairs. Responsibilities and requirements may vary by location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary Details: </strong><strong>$32.22 / hr</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Audibly inspect plumbing devices while in operation to detect gas flow, water flow, proper operation, or any physical deviation and/or abnormality.</li>\n <li>Service stand-by parts and equipment to be utilized when needed.</li>\n <li>Perform routine preventative maintenance on plumbing fixtures and systems.</li>\n <li>Dismantles devices to gain access, remove, repair and replace defective parts.</li>\n <li>Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing, systems supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment.</li>\n <li>Performs preventative maintenance (planned internal inspections) on water rides and plumber installations, as well as preventative maintenance on plumbing equipment and machinery, based on manufacturer and park standards.</li>\n <li>Tests and observes pressure gauges for leaks to repair if needed.</li>\n <li>Reads blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications and where plumbing systems exist and will be installed. Ensure use of materials needed for installation, including type and size of pipe.</li>\n <li>Assembles pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.</li>\n <li>Locates and repair issues with water supply lines; unclogs drains safely and without causing damage to company property.</li>\n <li>Ensures that all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and at specified grade by AWWA standard and meets all standards of health, building and safety guidelines, and codes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate or equivalent. Related degree or vocational training preferred.</li>\n <li>7 years minimum experience in commercial plumbing and boiler systems</li>\n <li>Must be familiar with or know how to obtain information from the National Uniform Plumbing Code</li>\n <li>Must be able to use or learn to use small tools: pipe threader, soldering torches, jackhammer, gas leak locater, pipe wrenches, channel locks, hammer, sawzall, various drain snakes, and others as the need arises.</li>\n <li>Good written and oral communication skills. </li>\n <li>Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. </li>\n <li>Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.</li>\n <li>Must have and maintain a current driver's license, both for use on the Farm and off the Farm.</li>\n <li>Prefer D1 distribution certification.</li>\n</ul>",
