    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Fitter</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: Williamsport, PA</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Under close supervision, performs varied tasks to fit tubes for test. Performs precise build tasks on tubes requiring a high degree of attention to detail and use of necessary tools to fit exhausted tubes for test and tested tubes for shipment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Fit tubes per print and work instructions in accordance with established workmanship standards.</li>\n <li>Maintain work area and tools in a clean and orderly manner daily.</li>\n <li>Perform RTV potting operations including mixing, using potting fixtures, and final trimming/inspection.</li>\n <li>Inspect components and assemblies for quality and accuracy of prior work and finished build.</li>\n <li>Attach wires and terminals by crimping, soldering, threaded fastener, or other means.</li>\n <li>Perform final fitting operations including painting, decaling, serializing, polishing, etc. in preparation for shipment.</li>\n <li>Perform spot welding (resistance, basic TIG and laser) and torch brazing as required for tubes in their area.</li>\n <li>Perform grit, sand and bead blasting of assemblies per procedure and workmanship standards as required.</li>\n <li>Understands production schedule targets and works to meet them consistently.</li>\n <li>Understands department scrap and yield targets and works to meet them consistently.</li>\n <li>Communicate, share and volunteer information with supervisor and teammates.</li>\n <li>Initiate NCMRs as needed.</li>\n <li>Leak checks/cold tests tubes as detailed in work instructions, as applicable.</li>\n <li>Understands proper use of vac-ion pumps.</li>\n <li>Accurately record applicable information on paperwork, tube jackets, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform basic LN transactions as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>0-3 years related experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
