Description

We are seeking an experienced  t raveling  Senior  Electrical Project Manager to oversee and execute electrical construction projects across multiple locations. This role  is responsible for  managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring high-quality, safe, and profitable project delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, travel-based environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout Develop and  maintain  project schedules, budgets, and forecasts Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal teams Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals Monitor job costs, productivity, and project profitability Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget Identify  and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with NEC and all applicable regulations Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The characteristics listed below are representative of  those   sought  to perform this job successfully. Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and NEC codes Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts Strong financial acumen (budgeting, cost control, forecasting) Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Proficiency  with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE Qualified applicants will have: Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering  or similar 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager (commercial or industrial preferred) Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50–100%) Valid driver’s license ABOUT THE KORTE COMPANY The Korte Company was founded in 1958 on the belief that professionalism,  quality  and  value added  services are fundamental to a successful company .   More than sixty years later, that philosophy has earned Korte the reputation for delivering high quality, responsive services to our clients nationwide .   Korte pursues large construction projects from offices in St. Louis, MO, Highland, IL , and Las Vegas, NV.
