This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in HVAC design and Revit, who is eager to contribute immediately and continue developing toward senior-level responsibilities.<br><br>At Earthwise, we believe that great projects are built by great teams. We are seeking someone who not only brings technical expertise but also values being part of a supportive and positive workplace.<br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop HVAC system designs, including layout, equipment selection, ductwork, hydronic piping, heating and cooling load calculations, and energy analysis.</li>\n<li>Create and maintain detailed construction documents, specifications, airflow diagrams, and piping/control schematics.</li>\n<li>Work with 3D architectural models in Revit to draw ductwork and piping layouts, integrating mechanical systems with structural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.</li>\n<li>Design and/or assist in the design of Air Handling Units, Energy Recovery Ventilators, Boilers (gas, oil, propane), Hydronic Systems, Heat Pumps, VRF systems, and other HVAC components.</li>\n<li>Support project phases from conceptual design through construction, bidding, and startup.</li>\n<li>Apply ASHRAE, NFPA, and building code standards; coordinate with code officials as required.</li>\n<li>Participate in site visits, field coordination, and startup support as needed.</li>\n<li>Mentor junior staff and collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and service technicians to ensure successful project delivery.</li>\n<li>Provide drafting support to other disciplines (Plumbing, Fire Protection, VDC group) when necessary.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education and Experience:</span></span><br>- Required: 2–5+ years of HVAC design experience with a consulting or engineering firm.<br>- Preferred: 5–10 years of progressive HVAC design/engineering experience.<br>- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred but not required.<br>- Direct Revit software experience required (2D &amp; 3D drafting/modeling).<br>- Experience with load calculation software such as Trane Trace or HAP strongly preferred</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">About Us:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Arden Building Companies is the holding company for Arden Engineering Constructors, Corporate Mechanical of New England, Earthwise Energy Technologies, MJ Daly, and Unique Metal Works.
