As an OSUP employee, you will be eligible for these various benefits depending on your employment status.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What will you do?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Speak with patients to <strong>assess their needs</strong> through actively listening to their concerns and questions and making appropriate recommendations and clarifications.</li>\n <li><strong>Coordinate outpatient appointments</strong> across multiple specialties including routine visits, urgent and emergency issues and associated testing.</li>\n <li>Work with callers to <strong>resolve complex problems</strong> by gaining an understanding of large scale operational processes.</li>\n <li><strong>Become a subject matter expert</strong>, understanding the nuanced processes of determining appropriate appointment needs and provider preferences.</li>\n <li><strong>Utilize software systems</strong> to facilitate patient interactions.</li>\n <li>Provide <strong>outstanding customer service</strong> to callers through listening, empathy and understanding the needs of each individual patient.</li>\n <li>Help <strong>promote a culture of positivity</strong> and team work across your team.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What are we are looking for?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Individuals looking for a career, not just a job, who are interested in making an impact on patient care and growing in an organization.</strong></li>\n <li>Self-starters who are pro-active and <strong>eager to find solutions</strong>.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to <strong>critically think through complex</strong> problems and adapt quickly to new procedures as the health care industry changes.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a sympathetic and calm demeanor to callers, <strong>demonstrating high emotional intelligence </strong>and an understanding of social ques.</li>\n <li><strong>Motivated contributor</strong> who is comfortable working in an office atmosphere.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
