    "description_html": "<div class=\"job_description\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<u><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></u><br><u><strong>Required Experience:</strong></u><ul><li>Six (6) years full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or&#160;General Contractor, preferably in an educational facility or public works projects.</li><li>Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version (P6 v19) and MS Office Suite.</li></ul><br><u><strong>Required Education:</strong></u><ul><li>Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or any related field</li></ul>OR<ul><li>Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in any course, but with additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling to compensate for&#160;the required education.</li></ul><br><u><strong>Required Skills:</strong></u><ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Superior organizational and planning skills</li><li>Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff</li><li>Understanding of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering, scheduling and schedule forensics</li></ul><u><strong>Duties:</strong></u><ul><li>Independently interprets and reads detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) and develops a clear understanding of work scope.</li><li>Review Contractor P6 initial Baseline Construction Schedules and identify any missing scope, identify&#160;any missing logic or milestones, identify and analyze the critical path, review the required cost&#160;loading, and be able to provide written technical schedule review comments based on LAUSD&#8217;s&#160;structured review templates.</li><li>Review multiple Contractor P6 Monthly schedule updates and provide written schedule review comments that document milestone schedule slippage, critical path activity slippage, and provide over-all schedule analysis based on LAUSD&#8217;s structured review templates.</li><li>Performs QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with the contract.</li><li>Creates Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines.</li><li>Monitor monthly construction progress and assist in identifying problem areas and help address schedule impacts in order to look for opportunities to advance the schedule.</li><li>Provide and analyze Key Performance Indicators from P6 Primavera Schedules and Excel Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD structured templates. Produce Contract Variance reports with Root Causes and Mitigation Schedule recovery investigations with recommendations.</li><li>Develop or review Suggested Preliminary Construction Schedules based on the available Plans and Specifications.</li><li>Performs schedule Time Impact Analysis by using the method of Windows Analysis while incorporating either contemporaneous and/or forensic schedule parameters in a detailed write-up.</li><li>Reads contract drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understands terms and conditions of the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit.</li><li>Effectively communicate with the project team regarding any schedule/progress related issues or concerns at regular schedule meetings.</li><li>Performs status updates for Program Schedules/Master Schedules on a regular basis.</li><li>Ensures proper use of Program-level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity</li><li>Prepare reports as needed and directed by Senior Management.</li><li>Visits construction sites and attends meetings, as needed, and checks the Contractor&#8217;s monthly schedule progress.</li></ul>Salary dependent on education and experience.&#160; Salary range:&#160; $155K-$175K<p><em><strong>Why Choose Element Consulting?</strong></em></p><p>Element Consulting is a construction management company dedicated to providing clients with responsible and innovative solutions to their project needs, from inception to completion.
