Our team serves as a true partner and advisor to all our business leaders; working with them to accelerate the company’s profitability and growth. What you’ll be doing: Prepare and review monthly journal entries to support an accurate and efficient close process Analyze balance sheet accounts and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Partner with internal and external auditors to fulfill audit requests and ensure compliance Manage and review expense areas such as marketing, loyalty programs, payroll, compensation, benefits, and prepaid expenses Maintain strong internal controls and support SOX compliance processes Evaluate accruals, identify variances, and provide insights to business partners Partner with Finance, HR, Marketing, Payroll, and FP&A teams to align accounting with business activity Leverage multiple systems and data sources to validate transactions and support accounting conclusions Support reporting and forecasting for assigned balance sheet and income statement areas Review reconciliations prepared by offshore teams and collaborate to improve accuracy and efficiency Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance controls, and implement automation What you bring to the table : Demonstrated public or corporate accounting experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills High level of integrity and professionalism Ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently and on a team Strong organizational skills Collaborative mindset Process improvement mindset What’s needed - Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance What’s needed - Preferred Qualifications: CPA certification or master's degree in accounting or finance Experience managing projects Experience in retail or a similar industry or larger organization We Offer : Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule (7 observed paid holidays) Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more perks and benefits It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
