We even offer pet insurance for your four-legged family members. • Early access to earned wages with Daily Pay, tuition reimbursement to help further your career and adoption assistance to help you grow your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a collective goal to champion a culture of belonging where everyone feels valued and respected, we honor the ways people are unique and embrace what brings us together.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>And, we believe equipping you with support and development opportunities is a vital part of delivering an exceptional employment experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team of experts and make a difference with UnityPoint Health.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assess respiratory status through exams and medicalrecord review, providing appropriate care across neonatal to adult populations. </li>\n <li>Administer respiratory therapies including medical gas delivery, nebulization, chest physiotherapy, airway management, and invasive/noninvasive ventilation. </li>\n <li>Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABG collection/analysis, pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry. </li>\n <li>Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust treatments as needed, and escalate concerns to the care team. </li>\n <li>Manage artificial airways, troubleshoot respiratory equipment, and maintain safe, effective operation of all devices. </li>\n <li>Participate in medical emergency response teams and assist with internal patient transport. </li>\n <li>Document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the EMR and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. </li>\n <li>Set up, clean, and maintain respiratory equipment; mentor students and new staff; and contribute to qualityimprovement and safety initiatives. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program is required </li>\n <li>Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program is required </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>None </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Required Upon Hire: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Must have current licensure in good standing to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in State(s) of Practice. \n    <ul>\n     <li>Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR)  </li>\n     <li> Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH)  </li>\n     <li> Iowa Board of Respiratory Care and Polysomnography (IBRC)  </li>\n     <li>Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WIDSPS) </li>\n    </ul></li>\n   <li>Registered Resp Therapy Technician by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Required Upon Hire: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care  </li>\n   <li>Adult Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training in state(s) where providing care </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Must possess and maintain one of the following through American Heart Association (AHA)  \n  <ul>\n   <li> Basic Life Support (BLS)  </li>\n   <li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification If specializing in pediatric/neonatal critical care medicine must have PALS (AHA) or NRP Certification (AAP) </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
