We offer a unique combination of government experience and facilities expertise that has helped us earn a position as one of the country’s leading integrated service providers.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>EMCOR Government Services (EGS) is seeking an <strong>Mechanical  Manager </strong>(Data Center Facilities) to support contract operations for a mission‑critical Intelligence Community customer in <strong>Pocatello, Idaho.</strong> The Mechanical Manager oversees all mechanical systems supporting data center operations, ensuring optimal cooling performance, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This role manages maintenance, system upgrades, and operational strategies for HVACand cooling infrastructure.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#EGS</p>\n<p>#LI-NS1</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>*** This position is contingent upon contract award. ***</strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage operation and maintenance of chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, and building automation systems.</li>\n <li>Develop and execute mechanical maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.</li>\n <li>Monitor thermal performance and optimize cooling efficiency across the facility.</li>\n <li>Support mechanical design reviews, commissioning, and capacity planning.</li>\n <li>Lead mechanical incident investigations and implement corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, EPA, and local mechanical codes.</li>\n <li>Supervise mechanical technicians and external service providers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Must have a Top Secret Clearance</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent experience.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Seven years of industrial experience, with five years at a Tier III data center supporting mission-critical mechanical systems.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Strong understanding of HVAC, fluid dynamics, and energy efficiency principles.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Experience managing teams in a high-availability environment.</strong></li>\n <li>Valid Drivers License</li>\n <li>US Citizen</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
