We believe we are ‘In good company.’ with everyone we interact with.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We’re looking for a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Catastrophe Modeling Analyst (Property Treaty).</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Based in Bermuda</span>, this professional will work closely with Hamilton Re’s underwriting teams in the US and Bermuda as well as the Risk and Analytics teams in London and Bermuda.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with our underwriting teams to analyze catastrophe (re)insurance submissions</li>\n<li>Help drive model evaluation and validation projects to shape the Hamilton view of risk</li>\n<li>Work with our technology team to improve and automate catastrophe modeling, exposure analytics and portfolio rollup processes</li>\n<li>Process and analyze natural catastrophe submissions using multiple catastrophe modelling software packages, including RMS, AIR and HARP, our proprietary modelling system</li>\n<li>Articulate modelled results to our underwriting teams, providing pricing summaries along with detailed exposure evaluations</li>\n<li>Provide data analytics and reporting as necessary to underwriting, risk and analytics teams</li>\n<li>Assist with preparing reports and presentations on the company’s catastrophe exposures</li>\n<li>Attend client meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you require for the role</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and experience using AIR and RMS modelling platforms</li>\n<li>Experience modeling property treaty contracts</li>\n<li>Proficient with SQL, Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office products</li>\n<li>Enthusiasm for applying technology to solve problems and increase efficiencies</li>\n<li>Highly collaborative, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team</li>\n<li>A willingness to work outside normal working hours during peak periods</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Conduct Standards</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must act with integrity</li>\n<li>You must act with due skill, care and diligence</li>\n<li>You must be open and cooperative with the FCA, the PRA and other regulators</li>\n<li>You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly</li>\n<li>You must observe proper standards of market conduct</li>\n<li>You must act to deliver good outcomes for retail customers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you can expect from us</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We offer a vibrant, entrepreneurial, and collaborative culture guided by our values: Be Smart, Be Sensible, Be Open and Be More.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We know if we welcome and respect differences, we’ll attract and retain talent that brings a valuable diversity of perspectives and experience.
