    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Field Service Technician - Electrical Testing will be responsible for performing electrical testing, maintenance, and repair services on electrical distribution systems and equipment. The technician will work with a team of professionals to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shermco Industries is seeking an Infrared Scanner </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform infrared thermographic inspections of electrical systems.</li>\n <li>Analyze thermal images to identify anomalies or potential failures</li>\n <li>Prepare detailed inspection reports using company templates, clearly documenting findings and recommendations for corrective action</li>\n <li>Represent the company professionally on-site as the primary customer interface</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with internal teams and customer personnel to ensure clarity and accuracy of inspection results</li>\n <li>Complete administrative duties in a timely manner, including time tracking, expense reporting, and travel arrangements</li>\n <li>May also support building energy audits and assist with cataloging customers’ electrical and mechanical assets</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic electrical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitude</li>\n <li>Experience using FLIR software platforms</li>\n <li>Thermography certification and experience as an infrared thermographer</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, drive regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations</li>\n <li>Should be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam when required</li>\n <li>Must be able to stay Drug-Free; you will be required to pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.</li>\n <li>Must have an acceptable pre-employment criminal background check.</li>\n <li>Must be physically fit to to crawl, climb, stand, walk and lift up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.</li>\n <li>Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license, and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime, and occasional weekends, holidays and nights.</li>\n <li>Must not currently or in the future require sponsorship to work in the U.S.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently</li>\n <li>Must be willing to travel; minimum 40%.</li>\n <li>All offers are conditioned on acceptable results from a background check and drug and alcohol screening.</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER | DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE</strong> \n<strong><em>Shermco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
