With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p><span><i><strong><u>Job Title</u></strong></i>: Engineer – Electrical, Water (UK)</span></p>\n<p><span><i><strong><u>Role description</u></strong></i><strong> &amp; </strong><i><strong><u>Role accountabilities:</u></strong></i></span></p>\n<ol>\n <li><span>Design &amp; Engineering:</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Good understanding &amp; Working knowledge of various water and wastewater treatment process and related engineering works - Pumping Stations, waste / water treatment works, etc.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Prepare electrical designs such as load schedules, equipment sizing, and overall power distribution diagrams.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Perform lighting design calculations using Dialux Pro and support detailed lighting layouts.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Carryout cable sizing calculations using Trimble Amtech and perform tray/duct sizing while guiding technicians.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Prepare Telemetry schedule for the Water &amp; Waster water treatment works and Telemetry assessment reports.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Produce electrical designs including lightning protection design using Furse software &amp; requirements.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Preferable knowledge to conduct power system studies using ETAP.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Produce calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and design packages.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Use practical knowledge to design Equipment Layouts and trench/tray layouts, guiding technicians and ensuring quality.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Support global teams in delivering water/wastewater projects.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Process Engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Prepare and review of specifications, data sheets and technical documentation.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Provide technical direction in project delivery, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Maintain compliance with Arcadis’ Business Management System and Health &amp; Safety standards.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Offer alternative solutions and guide the junior’s technical decision-making processes.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Knowledge on current UK design standards, working practices and national guidance.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Ensuring contractors designs comply with the latest client specifications and other relevant industry specifications (Wimes, IET wiring regulations etc.) and legislations.</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>Team Collaboration:</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and effective task delegation.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Engage in global activities, leading collaborative efforts&nbsp;</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>Software &amp; Tools:</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Trimble Amtech and Dialux Pro proficiency.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Experience in Furse Lightning Risk assessment software</span></li>\n   <li><span>Preferred experience in ETAP&nbsp;</span></li>\n   <li><span>Experience with AutoCAD, AutoDesk, Revit is advantageous.</span></li>\n   <li><span>Basic knowledge of BIM/ACC tools</span></li>\n   <li><span>Good knowledge of Microsoft office.</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ol>\n<p><span><i><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></i></span></p>\n<p><span><i><strong><u>Qualifications &amp; Experience</u></strong></i><strong>:</strong></span></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>• B.E./B.
