Buffalo Trace has been awarded seven distillery titles since 2000 and has also garnered more than 150 awards for its premium whiskies. www.buffalotrace.com</p>\n<h2>Job Description/Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Sazerac's Safety Internship offers students a thorough opportunity to work in the distilled spirits industry. This role supports all bottling/distilling/distribution Safety and Environmental initiatives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Interns work closely with our operation’s top talent, gain a thorough understanding of our departments and the career opportunities within each, all while working hands on contributing to and leading projects that directly impact company productivity and growth.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Expectations of Technical Internship:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with a mentor to develop project plans and set goals.</li>\n <li>Complete health and safety process improvement projects in assigned areas</li>\n <li>Develop and write standards for assigned processes.</li>\n <li>Technical intern events will also be available both in and out of work. These include networking throughout the company, time with senior leaders and extracurricular activities.</li>\n <li>Position located in Owensboro, KY</li>\n <li>Sazerac will not sponsor applicants for work visas for these positions</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications/Requirements</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor's level degree in Environmental Science, Health, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field</li>\n <li>Ability and willingness to commit to the entirety of Sazerac's internship program </li>\n <li>Must be at least 20 years of age</li>\n <li>Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Passion for learning and growing your EHS skill set</li>\n <li>Solid interpersonal and communication skills</li>\n <li>Desire to lead teams</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic</li>\n <li>Related coursework</li>\n</ul>",
