    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.23.14/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"></div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>Purpose of Position</u></strong><strong>:</strong> The Logistics Freight Broker will work within our logistics brokerage team to book loads at competitive rates for TL / LTL / Container / Drayage, then coordinate and track orders from start to finish ensuring a profit margin. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Essential Functions:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Works with customers and carrier partners to ensure on-time pickup and delivery while tracking drivers throughout shipment&nbsp;</li><li>Negotiates rates with carriers and confirms correct customer charges applied to realize a margin</li><li>Manages accounts and solves problems&nbsp;with a customer service-oriented approach</li><li>Performs data entry functions&nbsp;in our TMS and web-based customer portals</li><li>Booking carriers at competitive rates and spot-quoting freight movements to realize a margin</li><li>Tracking cargo and equipment from pickup to delivery to ensure safe, timely transport of customer freight</li><li>Vet and on-board safe carriers according to thresholds and standards set forth by company policy&nbsp;</li><li>Check steamship line and container terminal websites for accurate, updated booking and container details to support our drayage movements</li><li>Other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Freight brokerage experience is a must; TL / LTL Required - Container / Drayage Also Preferred</li><li>Excellent verbal &amp; written communication&nbsp;</li><li>Exceptional Organization and Time Management Skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams&nbsp;</li><li>Data entry skills with attention to detail&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working in a Customer Service role&nbsp;</li><li>Transportation industry experience Required</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, related field, and /or combination of equivalent experience Required</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>DISCLAIMER: This information describes the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this job.
