Responsibilities Your Role: The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring consumer products meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards before release to customers. This role performs routine inspections, conducts tests, documents results, and works closely with production and quality teams to identify and correct quality issues. The Quality Technician plays a critical role in protecting the customer experience and supporting continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with quality specifications and standards. Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using standard inspection tools and equipment. Identify, document, and report defects, nonconformances, and trends. Complete inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation accurately and timely. Support root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Communicate quality issues to production, supervisors, and quality leadership. Verify packaging, labeling, and product appearance meet customer and regulatory requirements. Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines. Participate in BRCGS audits, quality meetings, and continuous improvement activities as needed. Qualifications We need you to have: High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred. 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or consumer product environments. Basic knowledge of quality principles, inspection techniques, and defect identification. Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Basic computer skills (data entry, spreadsheets, quality systems). Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Icing on the cake: Experience with consumer products, packaging, or high-volume manufacturing. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO, GMPs, or company-specific quality systems. Experience using measurement tools (calipers, gauges, scales, etc.) Prior experience supporting audits or corrective action processes. If you answer yes to the following…we want to meet you!
