    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Tyto Athene is searching for an <strong>Electronics Technician</strong> to support day to day activities for several of our existing programs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understand and analyze design documentation and system data.</li>\n <li>Complete high-quality device and component installation and maintenance activities</li>\n <li>Execute testing to verify high quality installations</li>\n <li>Install system raceway (conduit) & system cabling</li>\n <li>Terminate and test system cabling and all components</li>\n <li>Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all mounting hardware components</li>\n <li>Meet all attendance requirements and working hours of the project</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with supervisors & subordinates</li>\n <li>Incorporate, and always follow all required safety practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Five (2-5) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities</li>\n <li>HS diploma or GED</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain a DCJS certification to work within the Virginia Department of Corrections system.</li>\n <li>Agreeable to submit for SSA suitability to support electronic security installations within SSA offices around the country.</li>\n <li><p><strong>Formal Electronics Training as follows:</strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Military Electronics Training OR</li>\n   <li>Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program OR</li>\n   <li>Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program OR</li>\n   <li>Additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current DCJS certification</li>\n <li>Certification/experience with Lenel, Honeywell, Hanwha, Hirsch, Bosch (DS and VSS) and Milestone</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret level clearance.</li>\n <li>Active suitability determination from SSA for security work</li>\n <li>Open to travel weekly.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location/</strong><strong>Travel:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Position is remote with travel required </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Tyto Athene</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The hourly range for this position is typically between $20-$27/hr.
