This role will coordinate project-specific quality control activities and is crucial in ensuring that all work aligns with on-site construction methods, as outlined in Hourigan's procedures manual, project requirements, and contract documents.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Collaborate with the Superintendent on all project start-up activities as detailed in the procedures manual.</li><li>Thoroughly understand and maintain current project contract documents.</li><li>Develop and manage the project submittal/procurement log in coordination with Subcontractors, the Project Manager, and the Superintendent.</li><li>Review all project submittals to ensure compliance with construction contract documents.</li><li>Track the status of all submittals to guarantee timely submissions and returns, preventing any disruptions to the construction schedule.</li><li>Co-facilitate Subcontractor pre-installation and coordination meetings alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent.</li><li>Inspect all incoming materials for adherence to construction contract specifications.</li><li>Conduct regular visual inspections throughout all phases of work to ensure high-quality workmanship and the use of approved materials.</li><li>Identify and resolve project-specific issues on-site in collaboration with the Superintendent and/or Project Manager.</li><li>Implement and enforce all required on-site Quality Control and Safety procedures.</li><li>Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) by committing to safe work practices, raising concerns, attending and applying safety and health training, and eliminating hazards within your capability and control and the help of safety staff.</li><li>Provide resources and support to ensure positive safety and health outcomes in line with the Hourigan SHMS.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Safety, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>5-7+ years of industry experience, preferably in general contracting.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading quality activities on specifically on data center projects.</li><li>OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Certifications.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy, maintaining urgency to ensure project standards and timelines are consistently met.</li><li>Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is preferred.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, LEED certification processes, and industry best practices.</li><li>Approach every responsibility and interaction with integrity, fairness, and care.</li><li>View challenges as opportunities for innovation and solutions.</li><li>Strive to consistently exceed expectations and deliver exceptional results.</li><li>Some periodic travel may be required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>We offer our full-time employees a competitive benefits package including, but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and life insurances, short-term and long-term disability, 401k employer match, and paid time off.</p><p><br></p><p>The summary of essential duties and responsibilities listed above is not intended to cover all possible job duties and is subject to change at our discretion.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Hourigan is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
