The Program Manager supervises team leaders and direct-line case managers.</p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</u></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Master&rsquo;s degree</strong> from an accredited college/university in an applicable human services field. Must have licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Professional Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist.</li><li>A minimum of <strong>four (4) years of related clinical experience</strong>, including at least <strong>two (2) years of supervisory experience</strong> in a clinical area.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>RELATED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES</u></strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of the principles, procedures, techniques, trends, and literature related to mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance use.</li><li>Knowledge of treatment modalities and intervention techniques, such as behavior management, independent living skills, training, supportive counseling, family education, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and service coordination.</li><li>Knowledge of clinical supervision requirements and techniques.</li><li>Knowledge of different types of assessments and their uses in program planning.</li><li>Skills to effectively manage supervisees&rsquo; performance, communicate expectations, and objectively rate performance of assigned supervisees.</li><li>Ability to respond effectively to changes in the work environment positively and professionally.</li><li>Ability to promote positive, collaborative, and professional working relations among coworkers, staff, and stakeholders in the community.</li><li>Ability to identify and measure meaningful outcomes.</li><li>Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training.</li></ul><p><strong><u>THE BEST BENEFITS FOR THOSE WHO TAKE CARE OF THE COMMUNITY</u></strong></p><p>We&rsquo;re proud to offer some of the best benefits options in Central Virginia. &nbsp;Participation in the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) is exclusively for public service workers in Virginia, while several options exist for life, health, dental, and vision insurance.
