    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul><li>The plant engineering technician works closely with all plant engineering personnel in support of improved equipment and process reliability as well as efficient and cost effective use of plant resources. This position requires the incumbent to prioritize and organize multiple activities with minimal supervision and direction. A solid background in mechanical and electrical systems as well as training in maintenance reliability theory is crucial to the success of the plant engineering technician. The ability to learn and effectively use various software programs including AutoCAD and the company’s EAMS system is required. This position develops and improves the preventive maintenance tasks for equipment throughout the plant.</li><li>Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, maintain, and repair plant systems and equipment.</li><li>Trains industrial maintenance technicians on plant equipment and reliability procedures.</li><li>Develops new predictive maintenance tasks.</li><li>Performs other plant engineering tasks as assigned</li><li>Work with electrical personnel on installations or maintenance of equipment when requiring expertise in electronics or control systems to ensure equipment functions&nbsp;</li><li>Provide support to plant metal detection, scales, and IT, RTD, and annual process equipment calibrations</li><li>Maintains accurate records of electrical equipment and programs (incumbent will document changes and information on electric schematics and breaker panel sheets, make backup copies of PLC programs and PC applications along with the inventory of electronic parts as needed</li><li><p>Responds promptly to equipment breakdowns and assists in corrective procedures</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Designs, purchases and implements control systems&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Must be capable of using small hand tools. Must be able to use measurement equipment (calipers, flowmeters, etc), and advanced condition monitoring equipment (vibration analyzer, infrared camera, etc) in an industrial environment.<strong> Must have advanced computer skills and be able to fully utilize our EAMS software</strong>. This position requires some physical exertion including the need to climb ladders and lift up to 25 pounds. At times the technician’s time will be spent outside the office area on the production floor. The technician will be required to be trained in confined space entry and lock-out/tag-out.&nbsp; The position will be utilized in a minor role to relieve Maintenance Supervisors as a stretch assignment</span></span></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Technical associate’s degree and at least 2 years industrial maintenance experience or at least 4 years’ experience in the industrial maintenance field.&nbsp; Working knowledge of and capability to successfully troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and mechanical systems.&nbsp; Verbal and written communication skills necessary including basic computer proficiency.&nbsp; Good organizational and time management skills.&nbsp; The ability, expertise, and willingness to train other maintenance personnel.</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><p>5-10 years in the industrial maintenance field</p><p>Ability to organize, schedule and execute equipment rebuilds</p><p><strong>Pay Rate - </strong>Based on experience and qualifications (Starting Range $30-34/hour )</p><p><strong>Shift Hours - </strong>Flexible 8 hour schedule on 1st shift</p><p>At Century Foods International we manufacture and market dairy proteins and nutritional products under private label and contract manufacturing agreements for the foods, sports, health and nutritional supplement industries.&nbsp;</p><p>Century Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
