The compensation range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $26.00 to $28.00 per hour.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform mold changes.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and conduct repair for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems by following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications.</li>\n <li>Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.</li>\n <li>Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts using rules, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.</li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning on production equipment and machinery. </li>\n <li>Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are conducted in compliance with OSHA, Federal, Local and plant safety standards.</li>\n <li>Must have have working knowledge of support systems, chiller, compressors.</li>\n <li>Report mold or machine deficiencies to management.</li>\n <li>Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.</li>\n <li>Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management.</li>\n <li>Other tasks as needed or as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Eligible to work in the United States</li>\n <li>Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent with technical training</li>\n <li>Must be able to work overtime as required, including weekends.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>Experience operating forklift equipment.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal) and operate a computer in order to perform necessary documentation.</li>\n <li>Maintenance Mechanic must provide their own tools.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>#INDDist</strong></p>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
