With more than 1 million on-site visitors, 224 million television viewers worldwide, close to 40 million online visits, and more than 3 billion social media engagements in 2025, why not come and enjoy the thrill and excitement of working with our team?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a <strong>Cleaning Area Director</strong><strong> </strong>to oversee the cleaning and maintenance staff for the US Open and NTC Events.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Cleaning Area Director 1</p>\n<p><strong>Start Date: July 6, 2026</strong></p>\n<p><strong>End Date: August 14, 2026</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Must be available to work 5 days per week</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Cleaning Area Director 2</p>\n<p><strong>Start Date: August 14, 2026</strong></p>\n<p><strong>End Date: September 13, 2026</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Must be available to work every day per week</strong></p>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet and assist all staff and guests in a welcoming and friendly manner</li>\n <li>Supervise and coordinate all cleaning staff and services performed</li>\n <li>Dispatch staff to designated areas in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Uphold and enforce the grooming and appearance standards policy</li>\n <li>Maintain a daily log of all work performed by the cleaning staff, by location, throughout the assigned areas</li>\n <li>Document all problems, incidents, and complaints each day and work with HR manager on resolutions</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment</li>\n <li>Report all vendor issues such as low staffing levels, lack of supplies, and any other issues that may come up in real-time to the Facility Operations Department</li>\n <li>Provide daily cleaning assistance and perform various duties as assigned by the Facility Operations Department</li>\n <li>Manage and coordinate all tasks of cleaning services staff in designated areas</li>\n <li>Proactively troubleshoot cleaning problems as they occur and respond in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Facilitate sweep of facility after each session and ensure that the facility is cleaned to USTA standards</li>\n <li>Report unattended bags and packages, medical situations, incidents, or emergencies immediately to the command center</li>\n <li>Provide assistance and direction when dealing with inclement weather situations</li>\n <li>Provide staff for court and seat drying </li>\n <li>Work with Sr. Manager, Facility Services on year end evaluations and hiring recommendations</li>\n <li>Be familiar with NTC procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)</li>\n <li>Prior cleaning and supervisory experience within maintenance or cleaning operations for venues or similar facilities</li>\n <li>Comfortable working in different height levels</li>\n <li>Previous guest or customer service related experience</li>\n <li>Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform</li>\n <li>Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament - 7 days a week in August and September </li>\n <li>Must be able to work 10+ hour shifts and be available days, nights and weekends</li>\n <li>Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and able to stand for extended periods</li>\n <li>Personable and proactive team player with excellent communication skills</li>\n <li>Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment as well as during stressful situations</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>  </h2>\n<p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: </strong></p>\n<p>Hourly Pay Rate prior to tournament: <strong>$30 per hour</strong></p>\n<p>Daily Pay Rate during tournament: <strong>$450 per day</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Uniforms:</strong> Employees will be provided with uniforms to ensure a professional and cohesive team appearance.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Daily Meal Allowance:</strong> A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Exciting Work Environment:</strong> Be part of a dynamic team at a world-class venue, contributing to an unforgettable experience for players, staff, and fans.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Come One, Come All</strong></p>\n<p>We strongly encourage you to apply if you’re interested; all unique backgrounds and experiences welcome!</p>\n<p><em>USTA is dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities for all individuals, regardless of age, disability, national origin, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or expression, pregnancy, veteran status, marital status, family status, alienage or citizenship status, creed, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.</em></p>",
