    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<h1>JOIN OUR TEAM!</h1>\n<p>   Your browser does not support the video tag.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Manager in Training is responsible for maintaining smooth, efficient and quality operation of the Shop while overseeing shift supervisors, technicians, and sales associates and by resolving any issues of that location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Boss Shops has many benefits to offer you that you will not find anywhere else like:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paid vacation </li>\n <li>401K and matching contributions</li>\n <li>Health, dental and vision insurance</li>\n <li>Short and long term disability insurance</li>\n <li>Life insurance</li>\n <li>A clearly defined path for growth</li>\n <li>On-demand pay with PayActiv (access to earned but not yet paid wages)</li>\n <li>And much more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Boss Truck Shop offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong></strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Achieve full understanding and knowledge of how to run a successful business unit.</li>\n <li>Achieve all budgeted goals.</li>\n <li>Ensure invoices are turned in daily.</li>\n <li>Review daily tickets to insure correct pricing.</li>\n <li>Resolve all problems that can't be handled at a lower level (customer, personnel, mechanical).</li>\n <li>Provide coaching to employees so they are aware of areas for improvement.</li>\n <li>Ensure all employees are trained properly and follow procedures set forth.</li>\n <li>Complete weekly shop schedule, maintaining minimum overtime to keep labor within budget goals.</li>\n <li>Ensure cleanliness of the shop, inside and out, and maintain adequate stock levels.</li>\n <li>Ensure all shop personnel act and look professional.</li>\n <li>Ensure service equipment is in good working condition and well maintained.</li>\n <li>Complete evaluations with the assistance of the Regional Manager.</li>\n <li>Conduct shop training meetings at least monthly to keep all personnel informed on pricing, policies and procedures, sale tires and other merchandise.</li>\n <li>Count tires before every shift on a daily basis, and keep a tight control on tire inventory.</li>\n <li>Complete monthly inventory counts as required and turned in by the first of the month.</li>\n <li>Perform inventory spot checks weekly.</li>\n <li>Evaluate and document any return job problems and be able to remedy the problem and communicate this to upper management.</li>\n <li>Maintain a profitable business unit.</li>\n <li>Update all national accounts weekly.</li>\n <li>Enforce and practice all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.</li>\n <li>Conduct daily safety meetings.</li>\n <li>Insure all procedure manuals are available for employees.</li>\n <li>Insure all employees are fully trained to perform all aspects of their job.</li>\n <li>Follow all OSHA & Safety procedures set by the company policy and procedure manual.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work alongside employees in both the shop and sales floor.</li>\n <li>Stay current on LMS training.</li>\n <li>Follow all Safety Policies.</li>\n <li>Provide friendly and competent customer service.</li>\n <li>Reporting for work in a timely manner when scheduled.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assisting in other duties, as assigned.</li>\n <li>Travel at least 75% of the time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Directly supervises 5 or more employees at each location.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.</li>\n <li>Ability to get ASE, DOT, TIA and other certifications.</li>\n <li>Able to furnish own tools to perform work.</li>\n <li>Basic typing skills.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of computer operations.</li>\n <li>Must work a minimum of 50 hours per week.</li>\n <li>Able to work weekends, holidays, and as needed.</li>\n <li>Must have reliable transportation and phone.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE</li>\n <li>Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.</li>\n <li>Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the MIT to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
