In this role, you will ensure that all machinery and tooling are running efficiently, producing quality product, as well as completing mechanical work.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Safety</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Seek to understand and support a safety culture and workplace</li>\n <li>Remain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job</li>\n <li>Responsible for following all required safety procedures are for each task you do</li>\n <li>Keep work area clean and organized</li>\n <li>Immediately address and escalate any safety concern, risk, hazard, near miss, or injury immediately to the appropriate supervisor on shift</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Productivity</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Installs Molds to successfully complete changeovers with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>Perform any maintenance repair work on tooling that is required to support operations.</li>\n <li>Maintain shop equipment in good working condition.</li>\n <li>Installs tooling (cavities, plugs, etc.) into mold bases (molds).</li>\n <li>Identify and troubleshoot tooling problem.</li>\n <li>Provide timely support to other departments.</li>\n <li>Work with tooling team members on all aspects of the job.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the proper use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety procedures.</li>\n <li>Maintains a clean work area.</li>\n <li>Performs PMs on Molds and components.</li>\n <li>Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Ensures housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility is safe, clean, and 6S</li>\n <li>Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.</li>\n <li>Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers.</li>\n <li>Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.</li>\n <li>Polish machine marks from flat and contoured surfaces of tooling components using scrapers, abrasive stones, files, emery cloths, or die grinders.</li>\n <li>Measure dimensions and inspect completed products or work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.</li>\n <li>Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools.</li>\n <li>Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes or modifications for improved efficiency or adaptability.</li>\n <li>Dismantle machines or equipment, using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and replace defective parts where needed.</li>\n <li>Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment for maintenance or repair.</li>\n <li>Replace worn equipment components.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>3-5 years thermo tooling changeover experience</li>\n <li>Able to operate forklift and high-lift equipment, welding experience desired.</li>\n <li>Ability to hold tight machining tolerances.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience using micrometers, depth micrometers, inside diameter gauge, and outside diameter gauge.</li>\n <li>Understand various tooling technologies.</li>\n <li>Basic math and computer skills required.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated team player.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.</li>\n <li>Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50lbs</li>\n <li>Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours due to the nature of the work</li>\n <li>Must be able to wear the required PPE to enter the plant/complete the tasks</li>\n <li>We expect regular and timely attendance to avoid disruption to the team and the line.</li>\n <li>Analytical, problem-solving, time management, strong technical/functional skills, interpersonal, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation, mechanical aptitude, detail-oriented</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Benefits</h2>\n<h2>What You'll Get From Us</h2>\n<h3>Benefits</h3>\n<p>With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
