    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">THE ROLE </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span>As a Graduate Project Manager, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects while developing your technical and management skills within a structured environment. You will work alongside experienced Project Managers and site teams to gain exposure to project lifecycle management, ensuring works and completed safely, on time and within budget. </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>You will assist in managing day-to-day project activities, maintaining strong communication with internal teams and clients, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and customer service are upheld. </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>As a rapidly growing business, you will benefit from hands on experience across a verity of schemes. The nature of our business of our business means priorities can change, so you will need to be adaptable, proactive and keen to learn. </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span>You will primarily be based in our Newton Aycliffe depot, with travel to sites as required. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, manage, and coordinate live projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and safe working practices. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Health &amp; Safety documentation. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure workforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures, including test and inspection plans. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with procurement to secure material approvals and place orders on time. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and brief Job Packs for site operatives, ensuring project scope is clear. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage project resources (labour, plant, and materials), monitoring productivity against programme and performance against budget.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and approve operatives' site diaries and timesheets. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend client meetings and build relationships with the site team. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee change management, working with the commercial team to track and administer changes, including redundant materials. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage document control, including site records, as-builts, and O&amp;M manual submissions. </li>\n<li>Conduct Toolbox Talks, site safety audits and quality inspections. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree (or working towards) in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong IT skills including Microsoft word and excel</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to demonstrate excellent communication, people and team management skills  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lead and motivate the team by demonstrating the right behaviours, ensuring the culture of the team aligns with company values. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS </span><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Placement year or internship experience within construction, civils or utilities</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Awareness of CDM regulations and construction</span></li>\n<li><br><span>Knowledge of project management principles </span></li>\n<li><br><span>CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain) </span></li>\n<li><span>Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar planning tools </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Candidate profile</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><br><span>Enthusiastic and motivated with a strong desire to build a career in project management</span></li>\n<li><br><span>A collaborative team player who is keen to learn from experienced colleagues </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment </span></li>\n<li><br><span>Confident communication with the ability to build working relationships and all levels </span></li>\n<li><span>Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and performance </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The company</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>We are entering a period of significant growth and are seeking likeminded people who aspire to grow with us and be part of our exciting journey.
